
SOYAN Mission Statement
SOYAN wants to protect dignity and self-determination for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities and safeguard the progress gained for individuals and the community via access to self-direction with full budget authority.
- To share information and resources that build community and reduce social isolation among people with intellectual and developmental disabilities and their circles of support.
- To advocate with policy makers for the longevity and sustainability of true person-centered services.
- To advocate with policy makers so that people with intellectual and developmental disabilities maintain physical, psychological, and social well-being in pursuit of a self-determined and fulfilling life.
