What Is SOYAN?
SOYAN supports people with developmental disabilities to live a self-determined and self-directed life and the people who support them by providing:
- opportunities for networking and sharing resources to build community and reduce social isolation
- education about policies affecting people’s rights and entitlements, and
- tools to empower individuals and their families/caregivers to advocate with policy makers for the benefit of the individual as well as the developmentally disabled community.
